Summer 2026 Schedule

Welcome to the Journey

This page serves as a central access point for Campbell-Wright HBCU Internship participants throughout the summer experience. Interns can use this page to review the program schedule, access key links, and learn more about the organizations, cultural sites, museums, archives, and community partners we engage with along the Gullah Geechee Corridor.

The Campbell-Wright HBCU Internship is designed to connect HBCU students with cultural preservation, oral history, environmental sustainability, digital storytelling, and public humanities work across Gullah Geechee communities. Through visits, workshops, community events, and site-based projects, interns will engage directly with culture bearers, scholars, artists, archivists, preservationists, and local institutions working to sustain Gullah Geechee history and culture.
