Join us for a hands-on art workshop led by Lisa G. Moore, a celebrated Gullah Geechee fiber artist and quilter, as part of the Campbell-Wright HBCU Gullah Geechee Internship Program.
In this interactive session, Lisa will share the deep cultural significance of quilting in Gullah Geechee communities—a practice rooted in memory, resilience, and storytelling. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative community quilt honoring the traditions and voices of the Lowcountry.
No experience necessary—all materials will be provided. This is a space for creativity, conversation, and cultural connection. Open to all ages and community members.
